jk_tweet2Jason Kintzler is the Founder and CEO of PitchEngine, a new social platform that enables PR to effectively package stories featuring social content to better collaborate with journalists, bloggers and influencers worldwide. He’s a former print and broadcast journalist turned PR pro and now, entrepreneur. He speaks about branding, public relations and social media at corporate events, conferences, trade shows and other venues and he blogs at New Media Cowboy and on the PitchEngine Network, a social community he created to cultivate ideas and help “PR meet social media.”

In creating PitchEngine, Jason is helping to evolve public relations as a whole, bringing authenticity and engagement to PR through the integration of social media content. By utilizing the PitchEngine Social Media Release, brands are not only engaging media contacts the traditional way, but also consumers. He’s fostering a new approach to a century-old craft.

bsBrian Solis teamed up with PitchEngine in March 2009. He is one of the top 50 social media pioneers, Brian Solis is globally recognized for his views and insights on the convergence of PR, Traditional Media and Social Media. He is co-founder of the Social Media Club and is an original member of the Media 2.0 Workgroup. Solis has been actively writing about new PR since the mid 90s — and coined PR 2.0 along the way.

Solis’ blog, PR2.0 (www.briansolis.com), ranks in the top 2% of authoritative blogs and is listed in the top third of Ad Age’s Power 150 index of leading marketing blogs. In 2008, Solis was named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.”

Solis has co-authored a business book on the topic of PR 2.0 with Deirdre Breakenridge, four-time author and president of PFS Marketwyse entitled, Putting the Public Back in Public Relations: How Social Media is Reinventing the Aging Business of PR, published by FT Press.

In concert with Geoff Livingston, Solis also recently released “Now is Gone” an award-winning book that helps businesses learn how to engage in Social Media. He has also written several ebooks on the subjects of Social Media, New PR, Customer Service, and Blogger Relations.

Sarah Evans joined PitchEngine in August 2009 as Community Manager and Social Media Consultant. A public relations and new media consultant, Sarah has worked extensively in the non-for-profit, higher education and healthcare sectors, focusing on media relations, message management, coalition building, deployment strategies and organizational change.

Sarah initiated and moderates #journchat, the top-trending weekly live chat between PR professionals, journalists and bloggers on the microblogging platform, Twitter.
She is a guest writer for Mashable, one of the most popular social media blogs in the world, runs her own consulting agency Sevans Strategy.
